Designed to meet the challenges of high-resolution imaging systems, the iFLEX-iRIS is an exceptionally stable diode laser source in a miniaturized footprint. Long-term power stability and reliable performance are maintained throughout the product lifetime
by automatic closed loop control.
Ultra-Stable Closed-Loop Modulation
iFLEX-iRIS now offers Closed Loop Modultion (CLM) for further performance stability
with very low periodic noise in the most demanding scientific illumination applications. This innovation allows iFLEX lasers to operate with automatic power control feedback in all modes of operation; CW,
as well as digital, analogue and dual-mode modulation. iFLEX CLM feature maintains reliable power stability from 0.1–100% throughout the laser's extended service life. Unlike traditional open-loop laser modulation, there is no need for laser calibration reset when using iFLEX-iRIS CLM lasers.
iFLEX Lasers with CLM feature are ultra-low noise in terms of RMS, RIN and periodic noise. They also offer precision adjustment at all output power levels. This is very useful for applications where a stable, ultra-low noise source will improves signal-to-noise ratio and data consistency over time.

In addition, the modular kineFLEX single-mode and polarization-maintaining fiber optic delivery system option allows iFLEX-iRIS to be located some distance away from the sample, in an easily accessible, safe location.
