Polymer optics for medical, industrial, and defense applications
Over 20 years of polymer optics injection molding experience provides
creative solutions requiring multiple optical elements with integrated
mounting hardware supplied as single modules to simplify product assembly
and reduce cost. Our products are widely used in the medical sector,
including disposables, dental and molecular imaging, diagnostics and medical
projection & display; in industrial applications including bar code, security
and fingerprint scanners, motion and presence sensors, CCD cameras and
laser collimation and illumination; and in defense for use in weight sensitive
applications like Heads-Up-Displays (HUD), Helmet Mounted Displays (HMD),
and weapons sights.

Prototyping to mass manufacturing
Our expertise spans from rapid prototyping using Single Point Diamond
Turning (SPDT), to pilot SPDT production to bridge the gap between market
demand during the injection mold building phase, to series production in
injection molding or SPDT for the greatest precision.  Whether it’s a few
prototypes or series production of millions of optical components, Qioptiq
is the best choice for precision polymer optics.

The right machinery for the job

Our renowned precision and industry leading accuracy is achieved thanks to
our fleet of the most modern machinery available.  We use the most precise
single point diamond-turning machines available to manufacture injection
molds with virtually any spherical, aspheric or freeform surface.
