• Coating designs and realization of coatings: coatings are key for Qioptiq to provide the optical assemblies with the most appropriate transmission, spectral, and environmental properties: multi layer stacks, rugate coatings, coatings for space applications, … from UV to IR.
• Manufacturing of holographic components is quite a unique capability, key for Head-up-Displays (HUDs) and Helmet Mounted Displays (HMDs).

• Aspherical, diffractive (DOE) and non-conformal optical surfaces and components offer new degrees of freedom to designers allowing them to propose more compact, lighter, more cost effective products. Combined with the mastering of high precision mechanical machining, high accuracy metrology, and more conventional surfacing techniques, Qioptiq can rely on a comprehensive set of state of the art equipments (diamond turning, CNC machines, corrective polishing machines, MRF (Magneto Rheological Finishing) equipments) in order to manufacture high precision optical elements.
